We are no stranger to knowing that many people ages 35 years and under do not take a great interest in voting for candidates running for office in their city. In Chicago, it is important that the younger generation is no longer in the dark about the important matters of today that will impact them tomorrow. There is a huge disconnect with the younger generations and politics today. Break the Vote was created to close that gap.
Mission
To inform and educate our communities and youth on who the candidates are and give our city a chance to get answers to questions that can help the city Break Out the Vote.
Break Out the Vote is geared towards people 18 yrs. – 50 yrs. old, however, all ages are welcomed.
On March 16, 2023 the millennial and genx leaders and influencers made history when they facilitated a BreakOutTheVote with now Mayor, Brandon Johnson, moderated by Grammy Award Winner, JIvy.
