Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship

Interested in becoming an entrepreneur? Check out NFTE—a nonprofit that focuses on merging educational opportunities with entrepreneurship for youth in low-income communities.

About

Established over 30 years ago, NFTE (Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship) has dedicated its efforts to creating rigorous programs for students taught by highly qualified teachers and volunteers from the local community, including business leaders and entrepreneurs. Their community focuses on the idea of diversity, where students, business and community leaders, academicians, and entrepreneurs all come from unique backgrounds. Furthermore, the organization collaborates with public and private sector partners to create project-based learning that deeply inspires and impacts young people. Additionally, their programs are widespread throughout 25 states and 10 countries, as they are found in schools, churches, community centers, libraries, and online.
